Abstract

A survey and comprehensive (general and local) treatment of patients with erosive-ulcerative form of lichen planus of the oral mucosa were carried out. The scheme of comprehensive treatment of patients of group 1 included local application of vitamin A in the form of applications on the affected areas, and patients of group 2 received applications of a fermented complex of plant origin instead of vitamin A. Thus, as a result of treatment, the group with a fermented phyto-complex as part of the complex therapy showed higher clinical efficiency, which was expressed in a rapid decrease in inflammatory phenomena, epithelization of erosions and a decrease in subjective feelings of patients.

Key words:

fermented phytocomplex, oral mucosa lichen planus
